Add plugin-level filtering to Updates page when viewing per tag
When managing updates across multiple sites using staged rollout rings (tags), I need to update specific plugins across all sites in a single update ring at once. Currently: The 'per item' view shows each plugin with all sites, but doesn't allow filtering by tag The 'per tag' view groups by tag first, then sites, then plugins—requiring me to expand each site individually to find and update a specific plugin What I’d like: A way to view updates grouped as Tag → Plugin → Sites, so I can: Select my update ring (tag) See all plugins needing updates in that ring Update a specific plugin across all sites in that ring with one action Then move to the next update ring and repeat This would enable efficient staged rollouts where I update one plugin across Ring 1, then Ring 2, rather than updating all plugins on one site at a time.
Lifetime subscriptions in cost tracker
Could you add a “Lifetime” option in the dropdown for renewal frequency in the cost tracker? This allows tracking association of lifetime licenses to one or more websites. Additionally, it would be handy to have a field for “License Key” for these subscriptions versus putting them in the Notes field.
New version numbers column on Plugins and Themes Updates pages
Please add a new column, that is showing the current and the latest version numbers of plugins or themes in the main row of the plugins and themes. As there could be different current versions of plugins and themes on the different websites, the “current” version number should show a sum of the version number, which could be clear and we can understand. Examples: When all the current versions are the same on all sites: 6.3.1 → 6.4.0 When there are different security versions on the sites: 6.3.x → 6.4.0 When there are different sub versions on the sites: 6.x.x → 6.4.0 When there are different main versions on the sites: x.x.x → 6.4.0 So we don’t need to open all plugins to check the version numbers, if the versions are the same or only the security versions are different. In this way we could make decisions much faster to update the plugins and themes.
Where do I find my API key?
The bot tells me that I can find my API key by logging into My Account. But I see nowhere where to find the API key. Please advise. Kind regards, Chrilles
Please make some proper activate/deactivate switches.
I'm sure if you enable or disable addons every day, this is not an issue. But when only using this every six months, I'm always confused and find it hard to see whether an addon is enabled or disabled. The current on/off switch makes no sense. Please make it more clear if an addon is active or not active. Thank you. Kind regards, Chilles.
Please do not ask for newsletter sign-up when you know I am already signed up.

Update windows
BTW, “You are ready to go” is not right when there are still theme, wordpress or translation updates. Can they please all be shown in one screen/list with the plugins?
Reduce vertical height of site row when using multiple tags
A request to review the row height when multiple tags are in use in the ‘Manage Sites’ view. The vertical stacking of the tag boxes can increase the height of the row when multiple tags are in use. It would be more pleasing to have less scrolling and a more condensed view. For example in the screenshot below, there are 2 sites shown in the available space, this space could accommodate many more sites with much less scrolling required and more easily review the essential information on each row.
Add "AND" logic for tags
Tags have only OR logic, the AND logic is missing. So we can not "filter" websites by tags, to show websites, when the selected Tags are all true for the listed websites. Please add the option to choose from OR or AND logic, when we want to use tags. For example: I can have tags for clients and for WooCommerce websites. So if I want to see all WooCommerce website for a specific client, I can not do it with OR logic, as it will show all the websites for that client and even all WooCommerce websites at the same time. Doesn’t make sense. Instead I want to see only the WooCommerce websites for that client.
Bring back color coding for updates indicators
Please bring back the color coding of updates indicators (green, yellow, red) in the new version. Currently, it’s difficult to focus on all the same small icons with numbers.
Support Portal email notification issue
Heads up. The email notifications on support ticket progression have a display issue with the logo file in use. (Screenshot attached)
Feature request: re: Support portal
The page/form at: https://mainwp.com/my-account/get-support/ should have a file attachment field for relevant screenshots to be attached.
Plugin Updates by Tags
I need to be able to apply plugin and theme updates to sites based on tags. For example I tag sites based on which server they are on and I’d like to be able to isolate updates to a single or group of servers as opposed to only one site at a time or all.
Restore Connection Status Filter in Overview Widget
"Discussing the same widget on the Overview page, please restore the connection status filter. Get rid of the three dots and give us back the list: All Sites, Connected Sites, Disconnected Sites. These are essential filters and so should be easy to activate." ~ Split by Dennis from a larger post by Lee.
Connection Status Widget: Visible Icons Instead of Hidden Menu
"The Connection Status widget on the Overview page should list domains with 3 visible icons + the site icon next to each site name: site icon, WP Admin icon, View Frontend icon, Edit Main WP Settings icon. It makes little sense to hide these actions behind 3 dots on a desktop sized screen or even on a laptop." ~ Split by Dennis from a larger post by Lee.
Overview Page Customization & Aesthetic Overload
"The Overview page is where I spend most of my time. Make it easier to customize. There is way too much white space too much nice styling for aesthetics. I prefer a clean dashboard that is functional over a nice looking dashboard with aesthetic distractions and which hides features behind menu dots." ~ Split by Dennis from a larger post by Lee.
Dashboard Widget Layout Misalignment on Laptops
"Generally speaking I enjoy working with MainWP but the dashboard layout is funky (see, I didn’t say ‘off’? lol) on different screens. The widgets can be positioned to look great on desktop screens but then they go out of whack on Laptop screens. It is not that the widgets do not stack so much as they skip placement slots in the grid leaving gaps" ~ Split by Dennis from a larger post by Lee.
How to delete Plugins
Eg. from this page (or some where else) https://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=PluginsManage - I am clueless. I need to go into investigation mode to figure out how to delete a plugin. I found it last week, now I am lost again.
Please add file name that will be edited.
I am always confused here … One is the function file - the other ?? Please be more descriptive. No. 3 below is fine :-)
"View Ignored Plugins" Button
Please hide this protruding button when there are no ignored plugins! I am always on the verge to update the plugins with it. Thanks!
