JetBackup 5 Integration: Backup Status and Restore Visibility in MainWP
Please add an official MainWP integration for JetBackup 5 via JETAPI. Many MainWP agencies use JetBackup at the cPanel-account level as their primary backup and restore system. Today, MainWP can manage WordPress updates and security, but it cannot show whether the corresponding hosting account has a recent successful JetBackup snapshot. Requested capabilities: Map each MainWP child site to its cPanel account/server. Display latest successful JetBackup backup date, age, size, retention and failure status in MainWP. Surface stale or failed backups in Dashboard Insights, site views and Pro Reports. Provide a direct link from the MainWP site record to the relevant JetBackup restore interface. Optionally allow an on-demand JetBackup backup before a MainWP update. Use a least-privilege, read-only JETAPI token for reporting by default; any create/restore capability should require a separate explicitly enabled credential. This should support the real-world model where one cPanel account may contain multiple WordPress sites, databases and mailboxes. MainWP would remain the WordPress management layer, while JetBackup remains the backup and restore authority. This would give agencies a reliable “safe to update” signal without installing a second WordPress backup plugin on every child site.
Burst Statistics Integration
I would love to see a native supported integration/extension for Burst Statistics. In particular, I’d like to be able to incude Burst Statistics data in Pro Reports and manage Burst settings from MainWP. We white-label our monthly MainWP ProReports sent ot our clients, and I’d like to just include the Burst monthly summary report in that as opposed to having a separate Burst email sent to each client.
Feature Request: Umami Analytics Extension
Hi MainWP Team, I am a happy user and I’ve been using MainWP for more than 10 years to manage my sites, and I really appreciate the platform—it saves me a ton of time. I would love to see an extension developed for Umami Analytics. With the increasing complexity of GA4 and the growing focus on privacy (GDPR), many of us in the WordPress community are moving away from Google Analytics. I believe Umami Analytics is a perfect fit for the MainWP ecosystem for several reasons: Self-Hosted Philosophy: Like MainWP, Umami is open-source and can be self-hosted. This aligns perfectly with users who prefer to own their own data. Privacy-Focused: It is GDPR compliant and often doesn't require cookie banners, which is a huge plus for client sites. Cost-Effective: It is completely free when self-hosted. Lightweight: It collects the essential data without bloating the websites. It would be incredibly valuable to have a MainWP extension that connects to a self-hosted Umami instance (or their cloud version) and pulls basic stats (Visitors, Pageviews, Bounce Rate) into the MainWP Dashboard for each child site—similar to how the Google Analytics extension works today. I really believe this would be a popular addition for agencies and developers focused on privacy and data ownership. Keep up the great work! Best regards, Chrilles
Duplicator Pro Plugin
Hello everyone, I have an idea for a new extension. It's an extension for controlling the "Duplicator" plugin (https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/). It's a backup plugin. It would be very helpful to be able to view and adjust the schedules for client sites. The ability to change settings, start backups, etc. would also be helpful. I think there are many options that can be easily integrated into the MainWP system. I'm sure many developers use this plugin. I have it active on all my client sites. What do you think of this idea? Best regards, Rolf
Extension Idea: Activity Log
I would like to see an extension for MainWP for the free Activity Log plugin by Elementor. [Landing page] we have found this plugin to be invaluable on our client sites and to be able to access the plugin’s data from our MainWP dashboard would be fantastic. To take things even further… MainWP could filter and display the data to show currently logged in Admin users across all of a client’s child sites.
Solid Backups NextGen
Please create an integration with Solid Backups NextGen. Currently there’s one for the legacy BackupBuddy, but they’ve introduced a new way.
Extension to locate pages/posts where an extension is used
Quite often a client site has a damaged or unsupported plugin in use and it needs replacing. The last time I had this was where a client had paid for a premium version of a PDF embedding plugin and they had let the licence expire and no longer wanted to pay for embedding a PDF. So the task was to find all pages and posts where that plugin has been used and install a free PDF Embeder plugin. But finding the pages/post where it is used is a pain but it's easy enough using a SQL search ( SELECT guid, post_title FROM wp_posts WHERE post_content LIKE '%[shortcode_name%'; ) but it would be great to be able to do this from the MainWP Dashboard and maybe generate a client report for it.
WPMU Dev Plugins (all integrated)
Would like to have most to all plugins integrated into MainWP.Uptime monitoring, Link Checker, SmartCrawl SEO, Defender, Image Smush, Hummingbird (Caching), etc…We build many of our sites on this server platform, the plugins are solid and work, but we haven't fully adopted MainWP since WPMU Dev has a bulk of what we monitor. However, I love the MainWP platform and want to fully adopt it as a company.
Integration Imagify
Hi, it would be great if you could add imagify. So that you could optimize photos globally
InstaWP Integration
Integrating MainWP with InstaWP can streamline your WordPress site management and deployment processes. Here's a detailed description/idea of how these two tools can work together:Creating Sandboxes via MainWP: Within the MainWP dashboard, develop a custom extension or use an existing one that integrates with InstaWP's API. Use this integration to create sandbox environments directly from the MainWP dashboard. This can be useful for testing new plugins, themes, or updates without affecting the live site.Deploying Changes:After testing in the InstaWP sandbox, use MainWP to deploy changes to your live sites.Ensure backups are taken before deployment for safety. Automated Backups and Testing:Set up automated tasks in MainWP to periodically create sandboxes on InstaWP for testing purposes.Use these sandboxes to test site updates, ensuring that any issues are caught before they impact the live environment.
All-in-One Migration (with Dropbox extension) Integration
We would like to submit the All-in-One Migration (https://servmask.com/) plugin for your consideration to integrate into MainWP. It is a backup plugin we use with all of our sites. We specifically use their Dropbox Backup extension (https://servmask.com/products/dropbox-extension). It would be great to be able to see the backup statuses for our sites in the MainWP dashboard.Thank you
Fluent Support
Connect MainWP with Fluent Support to show a site's support tickets in MainWP Pro reports.
Everest Backup Integration
It would be useful to have an Everest backup integration particularly as a package it has the inbuilt ability to Auto backup on Woo-commerce Orders
Cloudflare WAF Rules bulk manager
I manage dozens of sites through Cloudflare and have often run into the problem of having to update WAF settings on multiple websites one by one.I'm using a WordPress plugin that allows to bulk update the Cloudflare WAF on all sites under your account and it occurred to me that this would be a great addition to MainWP.Perhaps the plugin could serve as a starting point for a new Cloudflare extension for ManWP. If you want to take a look at it, you can do so here:Cloudflare WAF Rules Wizard
Add WP Engine Backup Control
Similar to how you now have support for Cloudways, Gridpane, cPanel, and Plesk backups, can you please also add support for WP Engine. Their platform allows us to make backup points and restore to that, and it would be great to be able to have control from within the MainWP dashboard. And they do have backup control available via their API as well.
Plausible Analytics
You already have Fathom, Plausible is a very similar alternative that we track all our sites stats with - it would be amazing if you could add this so we can report on that to clients.
Use an AI to summarise changelog for each plugin
One of the most time consuming tasks with WordPress plugin updates is reading the changelog for each plugin before updating. In the same way that Amazon provides an AI summary of all the reviews for each product, could you provide an AI summary within the MainWP interface of the changelog for each available update?
