Sorting sidebar like ManageWP

We're looking at ditching MangeWP and are using MainWP to evaluate features and usability. One thing we're already missing is the sidebar sorting feature. Could this be added via a plugin or would it need to be a core feature? This is a huge time saver for us.We're getting fed up with ManageWP disconnects. We're almost spending as much time there reconnecting as using the product.
