Send e-mail notification when a critical error happens

The uptime monitoring tools don't detect when a critical error breaks the site because the status code doesn't change. It would be good to have a feature to send a notification when a critical errors occurs on a site.Note: it can be done with a code snippet and the Code Snippets extension
