CPT's in the Dashboard Recent Posts Widget

I build website with mainly custom post types. I never use regular posts. After I installed the Custom Posts extension, created the custom post on both the main MainWP as the client MainWP website, the Recent Posts Widget still remains empty, eventhough I have multiple custom posts on several websites. In MainWP > Posts under "All post types", the custom post type is visible, which indicates that it's properly configured.

The dev team has confirmed that the Recent Posts and Recent Pages widgets do not support CPTs. The support team advised to make a suggestion about this on the feedback site. That way, others can vote for it, letting us know which features our users want the most. So please … fellow developers … let me hear your voice in order to add support for CPT’s in the Recent Post Widget. Thanks in advance !!!
