See their vulnerability database as well here, similar to wpscan: https://patchstack.com/database/For serious users they offer much more including features that rival Wordfence and Sucuri and some that go further such as virtual patching. Having an integration into Mainwp for vulnerability monitoring and tokens for things like the Pro Report would be stellar.

    After the recent review, we found that the current Patchstack App API is suitable for integration with MainWP, so we are opening this request again.

    @Dennis Dornon About a week after your comment, they published this blog post which seems to release the API to devs (it seems like it was already available to devs before, though?).

    All the potential use-cases they list in the blog post are the type of things that seem like would be good to be integrated into MainWP:

    • Are those the same endpoints that you looked at previously? It seems like it could do most of what would be needed (publish dashboard stats, add sites, change site settings, etc.). The only thing that seems like it wouldn’t be straightforward is grabbing a monthly total for vulnerability and patch stats which could be sent out in Pro Reports–in spite of them mentioning a similar use-case in the blog post.

    • If these were the endpoints you were looking at before, was the main issue the ability to use it solely for vulnerability scanning and that wasn’t possible? If so, an integration for the “more serious” users (mentioned by OP) still seems like it would be worthwhile, given how popular and useful Patchstack has gotten.
