Add Back Theme/Plugin Uploader to Favorites

The favorite plugin uploader has been removed from the latest version of Favorites and now the only way to upload any custom plugin is by first uploading it to a public URL and then pasting that URL into the uploader. This is so much more time-consuming and cumbersome. The whole purpose of MainWP is to try to streamline website management, not make it more complicated. Why was the favorite uploader removed and can we please have it back?

It would be interesting to find out what was the rational for removing the ability to upload plugins to Favorites

MainWP seems to be going backwards recently. UX is getting worse. Core features are disappearing.

I’ve been corresponding with MainWP support on this and the suggested approach is to exit MainWP and go to the default WordPress Dashboard and upload the plugin file there, copy the URL, and then come back into MainWP and paste that URL into the “Add New Favorite” box. This cumbersome process could be so much simpler if there was just an “Upload” button in the “Add New Favorite” popup that opened up the WordPress Media Uploader and allowed a custom plugin file to be easily uploaded and the URL inserted with one click.
